The issue is, it's not behaving as it did before this all happened. Currently, SpeedGrade will open (yay!) but with a permissions error, it allows me to edit the project, but then it gives me another permissions error when I try to save said project and either crashes or forces me to choose a new save location - which it then tells me that I don't have the permission to do. This happens during a Direct Link from Premiere as well as in a non-linked new project.
Additionally these permissions problems exist in Premiere and Photoshop. Photoshop won't save without giving a permissions error, and Premiere tells me that my scratch disks can't be written to.
This is absurd because I have a freshly installed operating system on a just-now formatted hard drive with a fresh install of these CC 14 apps and they still have permissions problems.
I reset permissions using the ACL reset in recovery mode, I've also run a few terminal commands to force a permission setting on all my files - but alas, none of these have made Sg, Pr, or Ps work.
I'm not an expert but it appears that my Adobe Creative Cloud 2014 Apps are not reading file permissions properly
