Woah! Making some progress! I checked the javascript console on chrome and found a .js file that had old image names stored in it. When I corrected the paths for some of those images, they appeared on the top bar. I then checked and found that there's a duplicate line of code in the html that was creating a static second bar underneath and removed it, so I have one bar now that only has two images missing!
