I have the same exact thing. I did not notice it until after updating Mavericks to 10.9.4. I tried uninstalling the Adobe desktop application and reinstalling but no change. I reverted to a clone I made of my system drive prior to upgrading OS X and got the same result when trying to open the application from my pre-update clone...no change. I am running version 1.6.0.393 of Creative Cloud.app.
