looks like this got double posted due to the links. Here is the actual image. I looked under object and clipping mask was greyed out. I used the Direct Select tool and moused over the blank areas but nothing highlighted. If I selected everything in the objects>clipping masks and deleted everything was gone. Crazy, I'm sure it's something simple.
