Dreamweaver does not display root folder images in browser:

<a href="../../../../english/mall/home.php"><img src="../../../gv_logos/gen_mall_logo.png" alt="Mall" width="110" height="60"></a>
I'm using Dreamweaver CS6. I checked View > Display External File, it is checked. I unchecked it ran the script, still no change.
I've been in the snag for weeks now.
It's driving me nuts. .
