Something seems to be wrong in your logic. You have a subscription to Captivate, just download the trial, install it and when entering your Adobe ID normally it should recognize you and Captivate 8 will be activated. Why do you say that you need to pay also the price for an upgrade, or that you did buy a full license as well as a subscription? That means you have two licensed Captivate? It is either buying a full license, or subscribe, not both at once.
