OK! PAL is good. Does the deck go through an AJA card or blackmagic board. If so, those have settings as well.
We use an AJA Kona lhi card set to "input passthrough", video 1920x1080i 29,97 NTSC(Canada). There are also a color bars setting as well as black setting, ect...
