Unfortunately, the best answer to this is still "install DWCS6 along with CC and use the older version for working on dynamic/database sites". If you are a CC subscriber, DWCS6 is part of your subscription as well and has all of the older database functionality that has been removed (and doesn't look like it's coming back) to DWCC. Both programs can be installed at the same time on the same machine and remain separate programs (you'll need to create duplicate site definitions if you want to work on one site in both programs), they just won't run at the same time.
