I am having the same problem on Windows 7.
Deleted browser cookies/cache - same deal.
De-installed as many Adobe apps as I could (old versions) - same deal.
Tried Firefox 21.0, Explorer 10 - same deal.
Deleted folders: C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE, C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\
per message/5182916#5182916 - now it wont run at all - get the download question: Do you want to allow this website to open a program.... click Allow then nothing happens.
