I have the Sony FDR-AX100 which shoots 4K video in the Sony XVAC S codec, and I have both Adobe Premiere Pro CC and CS6. Neither have any problems importing, playing back or editing footage in this format. XVAC S is really simply a high profile h.264 format. I am using both programs on a late 2013 Mac Pro with 64 GB of RAM and 12 cores under OS 10.9.3.
