FYI, I had to manually uninstall the Extension Manager, quit/restart CC, then install the new Extension Manager.
One would think that with such a major update, all related parts and pieces would also be updated. Or at least notify the user that a new version exists and that they might want to follow a link with more information on what may be necessary. At the very least it would be user-friendly for the CC application to show version numbers so users can get some idea if something is old and has not been updated.
I know Adobe is a small company with a small budget and small staff, but you'd think they might want to have some quality assurance people looking into usability of the product as a whole. :-(
